Kevin DiLegge is a Chicago-based artist working in oil. His paintings explore the city through atmosphere, light, and movement, focusing on moments of transition—dusk, nightfall, weather, and urban motion.
Drawing from Chicago’s architecture and infrastructure, his work balances structure and abstraction, using restrained palettes and layered brushwork to create depth and quiet energy. Rather than literal description, each painting emphasizes mood and presence, inviting the viewer into the scene.
DiLegge received a BFA with honors from Ringling College of Art and Design. His work is held in private collections nationally and internationally, and in 2025 was installed at The Clare Chicago, a luxury residential high-rise in the Gold Coast.
